How can a young man stay pure? By obeying your word……. I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. Psalm 119:9, 11 (NLT)
Being a single man has never been easy physically, emotionally, psychologically, or spiritually. Thus God made the statement,” it is not good for man to be alone”. Very few of us have the gift of singleness; therefore, the need to be healthy and whole becomes more important. The obligation we have in this world is that God has assigned us to lead. It becomes detrimental to the stability of our society when broken and fragmented men are in leadership.
We want to assist in the development of single men as they seek to discover their purpose in the earth and establish a biblical identity. At Grace Place, we intend to focus on what we believe are the four key areas of development that Jesus, the perfect man, mastered: PSYCHOLOGICALLY (“in wisdom”), PHYSICALLY (“in stature”), SPIRITUALLY (“with God”), SOCIALLY (“with man”).
We see this most concisely in the Bible’s description of Jesus as a young man: “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men” (Luke 2:52). Please join us in this walk as we endeavor to be more like Him for His Glory.
